Yes, I know, that doesn’t seem really sexy like this “onion tart”… And worse when that comes from a Frenchie like me but, actually (and even more with this wintery Autumn), it’s really really yummy! … And gluten free for those who are interested…
Ingredients
For the crust:
- 80gr corn flour
- 100gr buckwheat flour
- 40gr chickpeas flour
- 2 tbsp coconut oil
- 1 tsp garlic paste/crushed garlic cloves
- 2 tbsp yogurt
- 10cL milk
- Mix all the ingredients together until getting a dough ball then place it in the fridge for at least 1 hour
- Roll the dough with about 5cm thick
- Cook the dough at 200*C for 10min then 180*C for 15min
For the onion:
- 3 onions (chopped or sliced, following your taste)
- 2 shallots (chopped or sliced, following your taste)
- 3 tbsp creme fraiche
- 2-3 tbsp mustard (following your taste)
- 1 tbsp garlic paste/crushed garlic cloves
- 2 hand-full spinach leaves
- Pre-Cook (in the microwave for example) onions, shallots and garlic
- Mix the creme fraiche and mustard together
- Put the mix creme-mustard and onions, shallots, garlic, spinach on the pastry and cook at 180*C (with an aluminum foil on the top of the tart) for 15min
- EAT!!!
